Just wanted to post a quick update about the lives of us Everette’s! As always we have been busy, but it seems we have been EXTRA busy this past month! I am finishing up my summer semester of classes (they end July 23rd). Only 6 days of classes left, but who’s counting?!? It has been a very crazy semester with 16 weeks of work being crammed into 8 but I’m nearing the end. Then I will have 2 or 3 weeks off before my fall semester begins. During that time me and Chad are hoping to take a long weekend getaway to the beach! I will also be having my wisdom teeth removed on August 7th so even our “break” will be quite eventful! Prayers please for my wisdom teeth surgery because I am anxious as all get out about having it done!!!
During the past month Chad has changed jobs to a new company, Davco Heating & Air. However, after working for them for a month it was decided that his former employer held a much brighter future as far as career advancement was concerned. So he will be returning to that job at the beginning of next week and we are keeping our fingers crossed that he won’t have to do the amount of traveling he was having to do before!
Finally, we are in the process of trying to sell our house and boy is it a roller coaster of up and down emotions! We actually had it almost sold to a family who had moved down from Michigan. We had a contract written, had been to look for new houses, but then the family decided against buying the house. I have to say it was very disappointing though I know that God has a plan and a reason for what happened. We are showing it this week to another couple who has moved down from California so we would appreciate your prayers for guidance in the situation! Well, I think that’s all for now!
